Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Klose in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demonde Jacobson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 9 minutes into the match, Miroslav Klose dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Demonde Jacobson, 1-0. When Miroslav Klose came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Klose couldn't finish the play. Miroslav Klose scored 3-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Miroslav Klose blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demonde Jacobson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 33rd minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Miroslav Klose left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Miroslav Klose put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson. 45 minutes into the game, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Ilídio Abrantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Bernardo Simões was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Demonde Jacobson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 68th minute Miroslav Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Ilídio Abrantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After 73 minutes of play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jamaica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Finlay Stair in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Miroslav Klose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Klose in the 92nd minute of play. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Ilídio Abrantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
