Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FK Partizani Tirana's Eicke Brocker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Godwin Klöckner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Eicke Brocker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. FK Partizani Tirana's Thorsten Benscheider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 17th minute of play. If Moises Fernandino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Kemal Schmitter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Partizani Tirana and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of El Salvador booed when FK Partizani Tirana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kemal Schmitter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thorsten Benscheider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thorsten Benscheider made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Lorenzo Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Kajetan Meibeck struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ricardo Zorita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Partizani Tirana. A collision led to FK Partizani Tirana getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Nico Zeitz hit a great ball. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eicke Brocker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Eicke Brocker came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. Thorsten Benscheider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 51st minute. Moises Fernandino kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When FK Partizani Tirana's Eicke Brocker in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Valentino Ferrant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thorsten Benscheider read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Thorsten Benscheider was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute Sascha Hinz collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 84 minutes into the game, Abram Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Partizani Tirana the free kick. FK Partizani Tirana made a substitution. Philipp Vieten replaced Sascha Hinz. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thorsten Benscheider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
