Isidro Christobal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when 潘林凡 came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Marko. In the 34th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, DEPORTIVO SJ's Filiberto Bermudez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Panama booed when DEPORTIVO SJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Christobal was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Vaino Funda's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaino Funda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Vaino Funda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Isidro Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 77th minute of the match. Isidro Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 81st minute. Isidro Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Abraham Alguacil could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Isidro Christobal however easily saved by the left post. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 潘林凡 in the 96th minute of play.
