Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) BANDOLEIROS osasco's Billy Sandström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Monty Rogers scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Pilgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Karl Pilgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl Pilgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Sandström got free with Marco Day in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute of play forced BANDOLEIROS osasco's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Billy Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BANDOLEIROS osasco's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Pilgren came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes of play, USA's Jacob May made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Pilgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Billy Sandström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marco Day. Billy Sandström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The BANDOLEIROS osasco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. USA were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pilgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Augusto Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the BANDOLEIROS osasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Karl Pilgren in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, BANDOLEIROS osasco's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Karl Pilgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sam Campbell in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Pilgren saved BANDOLEIROS osasco from getting behind. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by BANDOLEIROS osasco's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jenson Smith was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. USA played a much better game than BANDOLEIROS osasco and deserved their victory. The BANDOLEIROS osasco players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
