The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ismael Tejedor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bolivia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ismael Tejedor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bolivia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 2nd minute. Penalty! In the 4th minute there was a penalty for AFC - Curitiba. August Wahlnäs stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Camilo Freixa. 1-0. After a rather tough play, AFC - Curitiba's Joseba Roa got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 23rd minute, Matouš Carda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC - Curitiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Zhang Yin Si sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's Lucjan Setara. But to his dismay, Lucjan Setara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, Jan Bykowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Freixa. Jan Bykowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Bykowski in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, August Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Jan Bykowski notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan Bykowski to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, August Wahlnäs notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Bykowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. The AFC - Curitiba fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jan Bykowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Alfonso de la Cruz's late challenge caught a AFC - Curitiba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso de la Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute Matouš Carda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jan Bykowski put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Bykowski in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Jan Bykowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Bykowski's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 84th minute. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jan Bykowski put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matouš Carda in the 95th minute of the match. The AFC - Curitiba fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
