The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica's zone, Zhang Yin Si stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal and Zhang Yin Si tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Matouš Carda sent off a good shot on target. Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhang Yin Si in the 20th minute. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Wahlnäs, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC - Curitiba's Jan Bykowski. But to his dismay, Jan Bykowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jamaall Padmore during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jamaica's Jamaall Padmore got a free kick in the 40th minute. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseba Roa went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.

AFC - Curitiba's Romário Ortiz was substituted for Zhang Yin Si. The wind increased when Finlay Stair made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Kordal Duff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, AFC - Curitiba's Matouš Carda made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Bykowski came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Lucjan Setara notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Bykowski in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jamaica defense, Matouš Carda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demonde Jacobson. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. August Wahlnäs scored 13-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Matouš Carda put it in 14-0 from a short distance just to the right of Demonde Jacobson. In the 74th minute, Matouš Carda made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0. 80 minutes into the match, Romário Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romário Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. In the 84th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finlay Stair to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Matouš Carda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC - Curitiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 18-0. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matouš Carda went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 19-0 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Wahlnäs in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Matouš Carda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 20-0. 96 minutes into the game, AFC - Curitiba's Lucjan Setara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 21-0.
