But to his dismay, Ding Fabregas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when 宋光威 made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Gogo Elequemedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernando Montoya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Gogo Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Elequemedo in the 72nd minute of play. Gogo Elequemedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Montoya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gogo Elequemedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Best hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Gogo Elequemedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensores de Mar de Ajó made a substitution. Rauf Nazif replaced Everardo Honrio.
