Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Camilo Gisbert made in the 2nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luis Andino however managed to control. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Pânzaru in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Mihail Pânzaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Loren Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. Loren Prats came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 11 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Mihail Pânzaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loren Prats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihail Pânzaru's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Mihail Pânzaru scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-1. In the 28th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loren Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Prats having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 36 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Efren Dobale. Loren Prats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Mihail Pânzaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Pânzaru. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Loren Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Pânzaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Efren Dobale hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Mihail Pânzaru notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 68th minute, Abel Estavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Loren Prats firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montenegro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Joaquin Havier put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Pegaso's Joaquin Havier got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pegaso's Jairo Valery got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Havier went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Havier in the 94th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Joaquin Havier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pegaso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, Pegaso could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
