Eduardo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a SC Atabueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Fontirroig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Campelo got free with Camilo Freixa in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 10 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josué Campelo. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Joshua Miralles hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Josué Campelo made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Camilo Freixa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josué Campelo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Belchior Ribeiro scored 3-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Josué Campelo sped through Bolivia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Gallo during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The goalkeeper, Camilo Freixa, was totally fooled by SC Atabueira's Reinaldo Veríssimo, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Josué Campelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Josué Campelo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Freixa. The goal made the score 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Fernandino to make the kick off. SC Atabueira's Jaime Eiró got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belchior Ribeiro went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Josué Campelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. In the 61st minute Josué Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Chicote during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. The SC Atabueira fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when SC Atabueira's Josué Campelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th minute Josué Campelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Josué Campelo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SC Atabueira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Campelo couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Hugon Bryk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Benito Madrid. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Campelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Atabueira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugon Bryk in the 88th minute. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Campelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Josué Campelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Atabueira had played much better football throughout.
