The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Mihălțan came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 85th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Beldad to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Mihălțan in the 91st minute of play.
