Joar Scheie made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Raphael Moore made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cassius Byrne however managed to control. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Olof Vestlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save CAN ERZURUM from getting a goal against them. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Joar Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Khalid Parry came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, USA's Khalid Parry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
