When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Oséas Recife put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. Savas Iosifakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 13 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Owen. Fragiskos Skrekis's late challenge caught a Curacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fragiskos Skrekis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Panthiseiakos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fragiskos Skrekis hit a great ball. Harvey Doyle hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Oséas Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fragiskos Skrekis in the 24th minute of play. Savas Iosifakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bruno Barrett came out and tried to block the shot, but Savas Iosifakis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. Fragiskos Skrekis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Curacao's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Oséas Recife scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Barrett, making the score, 5-0. In the 38th minute, Oséas Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panthiseiakos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Bruno Barrett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 7-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Recife got free with Bruno Barrett in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Oséas Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Recife in the 53rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fragiskos Skrekis scored 8-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Wlodzimierz Smolarek notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Smolarek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Oséas Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panthiseiakos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. In the 84th minute, Savas Iosifakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 15-0. In the 89th minute, Savas Iosifakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Savas Iosifakis put it in 17-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Panthiseiakos fully deserved thier win.
