Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Evren Yezid scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Cordeiro in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belotaurus FC's Fanis Geronimidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanis Geronimidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Belotaurus FC's Evren Yezid slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. In the 43rd match minute, Belotaurus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Vianna to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doni Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 74th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Geronimidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Novac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanis Geronimidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Belotaurus FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
