Demonde Jacobson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bülent Erduran in the 22nd minute. The referee ignored Jamaica's protests and gave Jarell Hill a yellow card for diving instead. Jarell Hill kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finlay Stair made a kick off. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 董磊星, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Demonde Jacobson came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Internazionale's 董磊星. But to his dismay, 董磊星 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. 59 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goal looked a bit too open when 董磊星 came free, but Demonde Jacobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, FC Internazionale's Bülent Erduran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. After 71 minutes of play, FC Internazionale's Cornel Popovici made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
