Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisco Seco kicked off to start the match. Uruguay's attentive Arturo Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Tony Pacheco made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Edgardo Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremy Nicholas having to make a save. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgardo Silva went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Edgardo Silva made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 30th minute, Maximiliano Escribano made a precise shot to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Silva in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Edgardo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Roman Major. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Edgardo Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Lalo Rosas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Lalo Rosas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. New England Minas made a substitution. Tio Lio replaced Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas made a substitution. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 62nd minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Edgardo Silva. But to his dismay, Edgardo Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 66th minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Nordmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. New England Minas made a substitution. Arturo Sito replaced Edgardo Silva. After 82 minutes of play, New England Minas's Arturo Sito made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Jeremy Nicholas threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Escribano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Arturo Sito came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Sito couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tio Lio went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score.
