Dolar Blue Ψ's Aitor Branca got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Aitor Branca made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Raggio. Belgrano de Pibasog's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Judas Verón in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Javier Perpiñán saved Dolar Blue Ψ from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Blue Dolar got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Judas Verón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's Aitor Branca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Raggio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Judas Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Dolar Blue Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Judas Verón came free, but Javier Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Aitor Branca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolar Blue Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgrano de Pibasog's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdemar Holm was slow to take the kick. During this time Dolar Blue Ψ's players had a chance to rest. Javier Perpiñán made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Silvio Abadia sent off a good shot on target. Honorato Jerrold was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aitor Branca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Perpiñán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Judas Verón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Aitor Branca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Raggio was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Dolar Blue Ψ's Mario Rodriguez was substituted for Chu Xiang Li. Kevin Dolar made in the 68th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgrano de Pibasog's Clemente Gaizkine. In the 73rd minute Julian Beturian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Raggio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Raggio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Beturian in the 79th minute of the match. Bernardo Raggio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Chano in the 80th minute. Judas Verón struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Javier Perpiñán didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Pibasog. Belgrano de Pibasog made a substitution. Iulian Ilinca replaced Judas Verón. The throw-in from Kevin Dolar in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Belgrano de Pibasog's Clemente Gaizkine. After some careless play in the Belgrano de Pibasog defense, Mario Rodriguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Raggio. The Belgrano de Pibasog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Raggio should have stopped the shot. Dolar Blue Ψ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
