The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. When Edgardo Silva came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the New England Minas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Silva couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Villa charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Arturo Sito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Luca Espinar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Sito in the 95th minute of play. Tio Lio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. New England Minas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
