In the 22nd minute of the match Valencia C.F. got a corner. Nonatos United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Farré ran over to the corner to take the kick. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 27th minute of play. Nonatos United's Richard-Dean Textex proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Nonatos United from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Farré's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Richard-Dean Textex firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Jerzy Giejda fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nonatos United's protests and gave Jerzy Giejda a yellow card for diving instead. Joe Herring shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Herring to strike the kick off in the second half. Yuan Wei Han fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard-Dean Textex having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nonatos United's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerry Lodge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Nonatos United booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Plumber didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Jerry Lodge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Klaas Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jerry Lodge to make any attempt to save it.
