In the 10th minute, Olgierd Kowalski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BYDGOSTIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 24 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Abaunza came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Garret Spence threw the ball into play from the sideline. BYDGOSTIA's Emil Piesciuk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Areco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Kowalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zbyszko Leper having to interfere. Tytus Paprotny kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olgierd Kowalski was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Abaunza in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Leper saved BYDGOSTIA from getting behind. When Agustin Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Areco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Abaunza couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Agustin Abaunza made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Areco FC defense, Olgierd Kowalski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Urtats. The Areco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Urtats should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Bochynski in the 68th minute of the match. Nicklas Lindström took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Urtats. Gabriel Urtats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 74 minutes into the game, Isidoro Harri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Areco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BYDGOSTIA the free kick. A collision led to Areco FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Isidoro Harri hit a great ball. 5-2 became the score in the 77th minute when Aquiles Pirro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Marcin Prusinowski replaced Piotr Gorzkiewicz. Gabriel Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Prusinowski in the 86th minute of the match. Gabriel Urtats came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski. But to his dismay, Marcin Prusinowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Areco FC made a substitution. Wang Ning Qing replaced Zeledon Sol. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Areco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nói Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BYDGOSTIA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Areco FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
