Armando Miconi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, americalers's goalkeeper Fabio Estebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dave Nash. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feng Hong Rong in the 11th minute of play forced AD Oliveirense's goalkeeper Júlio César to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AD Oliveirense's Fabrício Baía was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fabio Estebe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fabio Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Espírito Santo in the 16th minute of play. AD Oliveirense were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after americalers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabrício Baía took the corner. Dave Nash was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Marco Espírito Santo succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Lars Hansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dave Nash could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fabio Estebe made a huge save. Fabrício Baía came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Estebe could save by the left post. If Marco Espírito Santo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, AD Oliveirense's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Viedes came free, but Júlio César reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The AD Oliveirense fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when AD Oliveirense's Marco Espírito Santo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 46th minute, Gualterio Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrício Baía, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Nash stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 贺宽桦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AD Oliveirense's Júlio César played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiki Fonseca in the 62nd minute of play. Feng Hong Rong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Baía took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Estebe. americalers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feng Hong Rong struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Júlio César didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for americalers. AD Oliveirense's Celedonio Berenguer was substituted for Dave Nash. In the 76th minute, Fabrício Baía made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Estebe. americalers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. americalers's Don Ogazón was substituted for Feng Hong Rong. Fabio Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Manso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Marco Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Fabio Estebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Fonseca in the 97th minute of play.
