Fernando Selatse came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Brown Puerto Madryn's Ladislao Salvidor. But to his dismay, Ladislao Salvidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 37th minute, Gerard Pique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Raymond struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Flavio Pirro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Flavio Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alvaro Raymond made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 53rd minute of play forced Brown Puerto Madryn's goalkeeper Flavio Pirro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes Brown Puerto Madryn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gabriel Silban who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Despidida AFC's corner Gabriel Silban fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Pirro quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Brown Puerto Madryn getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gerard Pique hit a great ball. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Pirro having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taaniel Hill in the 63rd minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Despidida AFC's Arturo Arano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Pirro. That made the score 1-2 after 77 minutes of play. After 81 played minutes Brown Puerto Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Blanco. With a little luck, Brown Puerto Madryn's Flavio Pirro got control of the ball when Gabriel Silban tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Brown Puerto Madryn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Horia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billy Drake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toro Martínez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Pirro having to make a save. Flavio Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toro Martínez in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute Toro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despidida AFC's Oliver Rizzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dorin Horia in the 95 minute of the game. Toro Martínez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
