Leszek Klejnowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Klejnowski came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Oryniak in the 70th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Turyn's Stanislaw Sochacki. But to his dismay, Stanislaw Sochacki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
