Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski. But to his dismay, Zygmunt Dunajski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 19th minute, Filip Paulescu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Camilo Freixa, passed just outside the right post. Robert Antohi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zygmunt Dunajski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Nistor Costandache hit a great ball. Alfredo Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filip Paulescu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC Steaua Pildesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Paulescu couldn't finish the play. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Paulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Zygmunt Dunajski sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Stere got free with Camilo Freixa in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zygmunt Dunajski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Lucian Stere had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucian Stere was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bolivia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terry Doyle was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Steaua Pildesti's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Steaua Pildesti's corner Robert Antohi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camilo Freixa quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Fernandino was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Stere came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Filip Paulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Chicote hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 5-0 became the score in the 67th minute when Zygmunt Dunajski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zygmunt Dunajski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Zygmunt Dunajski put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dunajski, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zygmunt Dunajski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Dunajski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Chicote was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Julio Chicote hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Lucian Stere cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Filip Paulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Steaua Pildesti fully deserved thier win.
