The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godofredo Echavarris short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Ramon Lopez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ramon Lopez was a little too slow when Vinicio Revuelta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. David Armada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Ramon Lopez made a huge save. The corner led Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Geovanni de Medeiros to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramon Lopez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ramon Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Van Havent in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Sbârcea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Chaves in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Bebeto Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sbârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Bebeto Chaves notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea. Daniel Sbârcea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bebeto Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Revuelta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Lopez having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Godofredo Echavarri rounded Corralito AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.

Corralito AFC's Robustiano Jayvier was substituted for Valentin Quinto. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnny Van Havent was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute David Armada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Lopez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Jayvier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sbârcea having to interfere. Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Armada in the 66th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Orihuela Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Revuelta. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Júlio Britto was substituted for Noel Travassos. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Dominic Toretto was substituted for Álvaro Sampil. In the 81st minute, Vinicio Revuelta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Perutxo in the 85th minute of play. Bebeto Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Daniel Sbârcea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, one of Corralito AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Orihuela Club de Fútbol. Geovanni de Medeiros stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramon Lopez. 3-1. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Orihuela Club de Fútbol's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dennis Espeland was slow to take the kick. During this time Corralito AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Corralito AFC's Dennis Espeland to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniel Sbârcea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Orihuela Club de Fútbol had played much better football throughout.
