Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gottfrid Brenner got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Overdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gottfrid Brenner came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the LA VIOLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Brenner couldn't finish the play. Tage Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by LA VIOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Jose Correa managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The crowd rose to their feet as Gottfrid Brenner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. LA VIOLA's Sérgio Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 34th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Abidin Onar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by LA VIOLA's Abidin Onar. But to his dismay, Abidin Onar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Svante Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abidin Onar in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

LA VIOLA's Joakim Josefsson was substituted for Gottfrid Brenner. LA VIOLA's Albert Rutledge was substituted for Aron Overdal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abidin Onar to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the LA VIOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant went to the wrong direction when Jens-Ove Abrahamsson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Uter came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albert Rutledge kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Albert Rutledge came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Albert Rutledge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Urbano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Urbano having to make a save. Sérgio Urbano was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 85 minutes of play, LA VIOLA's Osvald Uter made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes of play Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Sérgio Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Svante Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
