A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Germano Bettencourt hit a great ball. Germano Bettencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfried Henselmans having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Porro in the 9th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack de Koning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Porro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Eztebe. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Lino Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilfried Henselmans. Osdorp FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack de Koning got free with Roberto Eztebe in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack de Koning. Wilfried Henselmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Bettencourt in the 20th minute of play. Roberto Eztebe came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Osdorp FC's Pedro Porro. But to his dismay, Pedro Porro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 38th minute of play forced Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Wilfried Henselmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 39th minute. If Germano Bettencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Jonatan Maidana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Victor Ixona in the 43rd minute really tested Roberto Eztebe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 45th minute, Arthur Løset hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfried Henselmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Rios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lino Rios who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Wilfried Henselmans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute of the match, Lino Rios got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilfried Henselmans was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack de Koning in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Porro in the 65th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Wilfried Henselmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoff Stocks. Roberto Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Løset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osdorp FC's Wilfried Henselmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Osdorp FC from getting a goal against them. Wilfried Henselmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoff Stocks in the 88th minute of play. Osdorp FC's Wilfried Henselmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoff Stocks in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Hop in the 90th minute of play forced Osdorp FC's goalkeeper Wilfried Henselmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Hop came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilfried Henselmans could save by the left post. AFC FUSION's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
