In the 35th minute of the match Rönnöfors FF got a corner. Areco FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Per Stenberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rönnöfors FF's corner Per Stenberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gabriel Urtats quite easily take care of the ball. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Tunström in the 37th minute of play. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Stenberg made a kick off. Per Stenberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Urtats came out and tried to block the shot, but Per Stenberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 51st minute. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Stenberg got free with Gabriel Urtats in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 57th minute by Arne Stor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Stenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Per Stenberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Gabriel Urtats to make any attempt to save it. 79 minutes into the match, Per Stenberg notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats. Gabriel Urtats was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A throw-in in the 84th minute of the game was made by Garret Spence with Zeledon Sol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 85th minute, Aquiles Pirro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magne Gunnarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Lucio Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Gunnarsson. Rönnöfors FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucio Galo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rönnöfors FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
