Dionisia's Florencio Chano was substituted for Denis Ereinotz. In the 48th match minute, Dionisia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Beturian to make the kick off. With a little luck, Dionisia's Serafim Eanes got control of the ball when Arnaldo Gabon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Francis in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafim Eanes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elpidio Francis. 65 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Beturian came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Everardo Cordarell to fire away a dangerous shot which Serafim Eanes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Melchor Gregory's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branislav Velchevski was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dionisia fans cheered their team off the field, for while ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
