The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 71st minute of the match, Epifanio Ibañez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Quirce saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ambrosio Opilano scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andres Lastur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Epifanio Ibañez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Quirce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play.
