Gavin McConchy kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dragan Horčička sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Tibor Surovec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Dziuma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwan Dziuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Surovec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dezider Šindelka made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lázaro Prestes sent off a good shot on target. Iwan Dziuma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragan Horčička's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Heide FC booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Kocek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Prestes got free with Dezider Šindelka in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibor Surovec in the 28th minute of play forced Heide FC's goalkeeper Iwan Dziuma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavin McConchy made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Andrej Karásek however managed to control. After 37 minutes, Tibor Surovec made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Heide FC's Iwan Dziuma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Heide FC's Julian Bejrut got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tibor Surovec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibor Surovec to make the kick off. Iwan Dziuma made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Andrej Karásek sent off a good shot on target. Tibor Surovec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Barcelona's Blažej Janalík was substituted for Petr Kocek. Dezider Šindelka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 68th minute of play. Andrej Karásek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Iwan Dziuma made a huge save. Heide FC's Iwan Dziuma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Surovec in the 72nd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Barcelona walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
