In the 7th minute FC Wrocanka were awarded a corner. Sverker Danielsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Wrocanka's Sverker Danielsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 16th minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Kajetan Dawiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Sverker Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. Sverker Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sverker Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kenneth Åkerman in the 31 minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Kajetan Dawiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 39th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Kajetan Dawiec. FC Wrocanka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Kajetan Dawiec in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Chodzinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Kajetan Dawiec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dawiec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 65th minute of play. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Wrocanka's Tomasz Jarosz. In the 72nd minute, Gökhun Kotuz made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute of the match FC Wrocanka got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sverker Danielsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kajetan Dawiec was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Ignacio Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Wrocanka's Tomasz Jarosz. Sverker Danielsson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Despite being the better team, FC Wrocanka failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
