João Carlos Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes Ramiro Novaes shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Cauan de Senna when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Maragassume AD - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Chaves. Cauan de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Sokolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Cauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin da Mata in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Ramiro Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cauan de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Sanches in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Frédson Chaves put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Breno Vergílio. The Maragassume AD - CIMZ fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ronaldão Sanches looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldão Sanches in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Breno Vergílio saved Barbieri Sports from getting behind. The supporters of Maragassume AD - CIMZ booed when Barbieri Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Giraldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cauan de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Sokolski in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Gomes in the 41st minute of play forced Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper Cauan de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Murilo Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbieri Sports's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
