Willie Colon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Roberto Eztebe made a huge save. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar De León, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chuan Cintron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Atlético Municipal's Oscar De León made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Eztebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute of the match Atlético Municipal got a corner. AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Claude Sena ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 31 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chuan Cintron was left in no man's land by his defense there! Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Roberto Eztebe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Chuan Cintron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoff Stocks in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético Municipal's Isac Ţiriac got a free kick in the 38th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Andoni Viguri in the 53rd minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chuan Cintron came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks. But to his dismay, Christoff Stocks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético Municipal's goalkeeper Chuan Cintron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoff Stocks. Chuan Cintron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Sena in the 70th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gau Resto replaced Andoni Viguri. AFC FUSION's Lino Rios was substituted for Aureliano Karlo. Atlético Municipal's Frank Dusett was substituted for Oscar De León. After having played for 87 minutes, Germano Bettencourt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germano Bettencourt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Gau Resto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 91 minutes into the match, Germano Bettencourt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chuan Cintron. Atlético Municipal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano Bettencourt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gau Resto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Municipal fans cheered their team off the field, for while AFC FUSION had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
