Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 18th minute of play forced Hades Prímula's goalkeeper Domeka Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hades Prímula's Domeka Lozano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Chicote in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Florinio Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. That was the end of his participation in the match. 64 minutes into the game, one of Bolivia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 92nd minute, Eduardo Fontirroig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Ismael Tejedor in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hades Prímula's Olaf Feria. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Ramiréz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bolivia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
