In the 11th minute Pavel Buculeasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Cârju, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Roque Aguilar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Harri Takavirta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Waldemar Gierlach kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Harri Takavirta was completely defenseless when Luck Hodson shot a long shot which deflected off the right pole and into the goal in the game's 19th minute, 1-0. Harri Takavirta made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Roque Aguilar sent off a good shot on target. Harri Takavirta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Sarangapani, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Toader Răducanu came free, but Matias Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harri Takavirta was a little too slow when Roque Aguilar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roque Aguilar to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Washington Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harri Takavirta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toader Răducanu got free with Matias Dimo in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Chris-George Van Gorp was substituted for Bart-Jan De Vaddere. Toader Răducanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Matias Dimo made a huge save. With a little luck, Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo got control of the ball when Pavel Buculeasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Matias Dimo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Cârju. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
