Tanek Ostrowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Tristezza's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Frank Tristezza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Tristezza in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 14th minute of play forced Grandi Lupi's goalkeeper Alfonz Kállai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grandi Lupi's Alfonz Kállai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 14th minute of play. In the last second Alfonz Kállai throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tirso Isasaga in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Alfonz Kállai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Domeracki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Grandi Lupi's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Domeracki came free, but Alfonz Kállai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Tristezza came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's Şota Arveladze sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonz Kállai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olympique Gdynia were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Grandi Lupi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta took the corner. 39 minutes into the match, Grandi Lupi's goal looked a bit too open when Şota Arveladze came free, but Alfonz Kállai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şota Arveladze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 43 played minutes Grandi Lupi got a freekick which was hit by Frank Krasniqi. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Czeslaw Domeracki to make the kick off. When Olympique Gdynia's Czeslaw Domeracki in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner ended in Fabio-Roman Zabaleta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grandi Lupi's Alfonz Kállai did a great save. A collision led to Olympique Gdynia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Jurand Frankowski hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şota Arveladze in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonz Kállai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute Şota Arveladze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonz Kállai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Olympique Gdynia getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Noam Chomsky hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Tristezza in the 72nd minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski got control of the ball when Louis-Philippe Damman tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 84th minute of play forced Grandi Lupi's goalkeeper Alfonz Kállai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Şota Arveladze put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfonz Kállai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şota Arveladze in the 94th minute of play forced Grandi Lupi's goalkeeper Alfonz Kállai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Grandi Lupi booed when Olympique Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şota Arveladze didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Olympique Gdynia fully deserved thier win.
