Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ma Yong Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Majak came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rickard Lövkvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Karen FC's players had a chance to rest. After 17 minutes, Einar Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karen FC and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Einar Carlsson. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Arvin Svanberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 26th minute of play forced Karen FC's goalkeeper Ma Yong Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Karen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ma Yong Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ma Yong Jun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiprijan Vučurević to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Slawomir Majak to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Arvin Svanberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvin Svanberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arvin Svanberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Arvin Svanberg put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Majak came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Majak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 67th match minute, Karen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seve Sevens to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 80th minute Slawomir Majak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karen FC made a substitution. Leo Öfverman replaced Seve Sevens. After 83 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rickard Lövkvist who took care of the corner kick. Camilo Gaos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jonathan Ferrant, a very annoying self made goal in the 83rd minute which led to 5-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Arvin Svanberg:s penalty. 93 minutes into the match, Arvin Svanberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvin Svanberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
