After some careless play in the FC ANC defense, Man Tas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Tudor. The FC ANC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Tudor should have stopped the shot. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Man Tas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Man Tas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Tudor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Grady Beckman got a free kick in the 18th minute. Yanne Van Eyken made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tadeu Jacinto. In the 30th minute, Man Tas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 33 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Man Tas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Tudor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Man Tas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Tudor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Tobias Elizardo was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Måns Kjellman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Måns Kjellman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Arias Fabelo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yanne Van Eyken, made in the 40th minute of the game. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Petricca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Kjellman kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The supporters of FC ANC booed when Sarmiento de Resistencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arias Fabelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yanne Van Eyken, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Herrero in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Tudor saved FC ANC from getting behind. With a little luck, FC ANC's Martin Tudor got control of the ball when Alex Herrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tobias Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Petricca in the 62nd minute of play. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC ANC's Måns Kjellman in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalie prevented a goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alonzo Peruxu was substituted for Bogumil Spychalski. 75 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Måns Kjellman came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Herrero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Martin Tudor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Måns Kjellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Elizardo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ANC's Måns Kjellman. But to his dismay, Måns Kjellman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Francis Sarmiento was substituted for Henning Martinsson. Tobias Elizardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Petricca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Dino Petricca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Elizardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Quiroga went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sarmiento de Resistencia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
