In the 14thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Bonifacio Naldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bonifacio Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Hernando in the 23rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Fabio Hernando made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Birila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. A collision led to Atletico Calamar Saavedra getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abel Esiquio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced Atletico Calamar Saavedra's goalkeeper Bonifacio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabio Hernando was the one to do the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Hernando scored 4-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bonifacio Naldo. 5-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atletico Calamar Saavedra had won after a very even match.
