If Evert Heremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Ismael Tejedor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Gulden Draak the free kick. Ismael Tejedor kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Evert Heremans took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Camilo Freixa to make any attempt to save it. In the 42nd minute, Mario Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. De Gulden Draak's Evert Heremans got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manuel Peres made a kick off. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Peres in the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of De Gulden Draak booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Ferrant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erwin Backes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Manuel Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Manuel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Backes in the 78th minute of play. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Heremans went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Erwin Backes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Manuel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Manuel Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that De Gulden Draak were the better team. De Gulden Draak's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
