In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Pintis short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eurospeed Asti's Grant Irø was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Eurospeed Asti's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Battisti came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damiano Battisti. Eurospeed Asti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Pinti in the 43rd minute of the match. When Eurospeed Asti's Fausto Pinti in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Damiano Battisti threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 63 minutes Eurospeed Asti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Damiano Battisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Elia Pietrantoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Eurospeed Asti's Jose Berdoi got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elia Pietrantoni during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
