Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Pietrantoni in the 13th minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Battisti having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Pietrantoni in the 25th minute of play. Damiano Battisti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Agustín Saelices fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damiano Battisti quite easily take care of the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Damiano Battisti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Damiano Battisti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Pietrantoni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Pietrantoni in the 50th minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Battisti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 58 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ettore Masciarelli who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elia Pietrantoni in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The Eurospeed Asti fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Eurospeed Asti's Elia Pietrantoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jose Berdoi's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Berdoi helped the player get up and apologised. Jose Berdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Edward Barr in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ecuador's Luis Andino. In the 88th minute Eurospeed Asti were awarded a corner. Ettore Masciarelli went to the cornerflag to take it. After 88 minutes, Fausto Pinti made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amedeo Moriggi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Eurospeed Asti to leave the ground with a draw.
