Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Caetano Messias made the kick off and thus started the match. Grigore Zberea charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigore Zberea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, FC BaLiSt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Zberea to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Caetano Messias hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Caetano Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of FC BaLiSt booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Sainz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caetano Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caetano Messias in the 19th minute. In the 20th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Messias had several of the Uruguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Joaquin Gayoso as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Caetano Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caetano Messias came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC BaLiSt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Messias couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Arturo Carvallo in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC BaLiSt's Aron Olteanu. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Messias in the 38th minute of play. Brun O'Down took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Carvallo during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Caetano Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them.

With an all-out effort, Uruguay's Brun O'Down threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Escribano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 52nd minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Uruguay's Jorge Sainz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Messias in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC BaLiSt booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Messias in the 69th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. FC BaLiSt's Traian Nanu was substituted for Aron Olteanu. Caetano Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. FC BaLiSt's Brun O'Down proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save FC BaLiSt from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Messias came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Messias in the 81st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caetano Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC BaLiSt made a substitution. Eugen Braniște replaced Pascual Colon. The audience was convinced that Caetano Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Costel Albescu made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. Uruguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC BaLiSt had won, even though Uruguay had held more of the ball.
