The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Tello got free with Luis Bastia in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luis Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Bastia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Leysus Oktavianus made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute Aaron Tello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Lucas in the 39th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Luis Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Ulrico Herzog had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luis Bastia. Yupandú FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulrico Herzog was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When Leysus Oktavianus came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Matanza and Steelers fans jumped to their feet. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Roland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Tiadoro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulrico Herzog in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the game, Aaron Tello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Luis Bastia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Yupandú FC defense, Aaron Tello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Bastia. The Yupandú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Bastia should have stopped the shot. Aaron Tello scored 7-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Bastia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luis Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Tello, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Bernardino Tiadoro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Matanza and Steelers made a substitution. Wiliam Peixoto replaced Aaron Tello. After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Bernardino Tiadoro got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Feliberto Abechuco fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupandú FC's protests and gave Feliberto Abechuco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Jimmy Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Bastia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Peixoto in the 70th minute of the match. When Ulrico Herzog came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Matanza and Steelers fans jumped to their feet. The audience was convinced that Ulrico Herzog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Bastia was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. A well done corner resulted in Gonza Victoria drilling the ball in to score 8-0 behind Yupandú FC's goalkeeper. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wiliam Peixoto in the 77th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Luis Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leysus Oktavianus got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Luis Bastia handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jimmy Örtendal put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Bastia. After having played for 91 minutes, Wiliam Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matanza and Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Matanza and Steelers's Ulrico Herzog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. When the referee ended the match the Matanza and Steelers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
