Sulo Montaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. In the 13th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buturugã saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 28th minute of play. LOI's attentive Mehmet Akif Cerme managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. In the 39th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Sulo Montaña tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mehmet Akif Cerme hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. George Buturugã made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 55th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Buturugã read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Özgür Özbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. LOI made a substitution. Eriberto Segio replaced Kaan Öztanır. In the 84th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Pozo to maneuver through the defense. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerimhan Cevher in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Kerimhan Cevher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
