Kaj Helström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niles Crane got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Niles Crane succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Stroh in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Patricio Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Johnathan Haynes in the 22 minute of the game. Niles Crane's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 30th minute, one of Stowe City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stowe City. Tomas Illescas shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaj Helström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stowe City's Emmanuel Stroh slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stowe City's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When Emmanuel Stroh came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Stowe City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Stroh couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niles Crane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Niles Crane made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emmanuel Stroh went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Matt Briggs came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Stowe City made a substitution. Paul Villalobos replaced Matt Briggs. The supporters of Stowe City booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stowe City's Niles Crane in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stowe City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johnathan Haynes in the 82nd minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Stowe City's Kaj Helström got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Stowe City's Niles Crane made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stowe City.
