Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bubu Denat, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mané Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Verdu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mané Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Lara came free, but Alejandro Verdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Lara in the 18th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Mané Lara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alejandro Verdu to make any attempt to save it. Ludovít Reis hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Alejandro Verdu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Lara in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Verdu saved F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA from getting behind. If Mané Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Lara in the 32nd minute of play forced F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's goalkeeper Alejandro Verdu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evgeniy Bakov made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Ludovít Reis. If Mané Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bubu Denat to strike the kick off in the second half. Mané Lara scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Verdu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alejandro Verdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lara in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Joinville United - FSCMZ booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neal Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ made a substitution. The corner ended in Joan Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz did a great save. In the 81st minute Lennart Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Verdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Verdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alesandro Coutinho in the 83rd minute of the match. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Joinville United - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Borys Gruchacz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joan Puig in the 86th minute. In the 90th minute Maurício Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Verdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Joinville United - FSCMZ.
