Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cyprian Sroki made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Alijilán returns's zone, Facundo Cadaval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Erauso came out of the goal and Facundo Cadaval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Erauso having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Victor Erauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Victor Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adilson Rocha took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Erauso saved Alijilán returns from getting behind. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Victor Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Co Bayo in the 65th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Victor Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Joel Gaona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Alijilán returns players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Gaona kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cyprian Sroki kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Sroki in the 94th minute of play. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
