An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Eugenio Chayo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eugenio Chayo came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mounir Perry could save by the left post. Higinio Eate might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mounir Perry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Eate ran back to his position shaking his head. Mounir Perry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Eate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Cavaliers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Cavaliers FC's Jaime Villegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Lhermite in the 27th minute of play. Jaime Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.P. Kapar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, J.P. Kapar made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Villegas. Cavaliers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Florent Blanc made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Romulo Chesus. In the 33rd minute, Eugenio Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Chesus hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cavaliers FC's Denis Maule got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roncourt's goalkeeper Mounir Perry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Roncourt were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lv Xiao Zhi to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cavaliers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lv Xiao Zhi came free, but Jaime Villegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Cavaliers FC's Jaime Villegas got control of the ball when Jean-Marc Kazmierczak tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Roncourt had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
