Mean Machine's Thanasis Vrasidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Neufeld in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Măliță came free, but Thanasis Vrasidas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charis Mantalakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Cícero Proença made a huge save. In the 24thth minute of the game Gunter Ulm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mean Machine's Thanasis Vrasidas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanasis Vrasidas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Măliță in the 26th minute of play. Thanasis Vrasidas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman Ackermann's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes Mean Machine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bircan Onay who took care of the corner kick. Thanasis Vrasidas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Ackermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanasis Vrasidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petruț Măliță, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Cícero Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charis Mantalakis in the 67th minute of the match. Thanasis Vrasidas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunnar Halleck in the 72nd minute. In the 98th minute Lucas Bergvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Vrasidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mean Machine's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bircan Onay was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Otten's players had a chance to rest.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Otten walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
